Christian Johnson,
Chief Executive Officer

Christian joined IMGN Life as CEO 2017 after retiring as a lieutenant colonel from the U.S. Army.  He comes with the unique perspective of having been conceived in rape and exists today because of a pregnancy-help ministry that came along his mother’s side during a time of crisis. He says, “Were it not for my biological mother’s courage and the support she received, my adoptive family would not have had a son and brother, nor would my own two children exist today.  I believe God gave me this life story to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.”

Christian holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education from Liberty University and a Masters of Quality Systems Management from the National Graduate School.  His diverse professional experience includes sexual assault victim advocacy, strategic partnership development, marketing/advertising program management, family support programs, and high school teacher/coach which all uniquely prepared him for this position. Christian and his wife Amie have two married adult children.

Eva Ortiz,
Patient Services Director

Eva rejoined our team in 2019 but has been involved in the ministry since 2015. Eva is married to her high school sweetheart Carlos for over 25 years. They were teenagers when they found themselves in an unplanned pregnancy, but with the assistance of a young parent’s program and the grace of God, they overcame the struggles. After the loss of their only son, she sensed a calling to help those who are conflicted in an unplanned pregnancy. She says, “It has helped me grow in faith and compassion. Each day is a new opportunity to be God’s hands and feet. To serve others who may not realize how much they are loved while remembering that only God can save. We are the sowers of the seed God has entrusted to us.”

Eva is an Army veteran and holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Religious Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is also a licensed OB sonographer. She enjoys adventure-seeking, hiking, and working with Youth.

Kirsten Pegram,
 Director of Operations

Kirsten was born and grew up right here in Fredericksburg, VA, with her eight other siblings. Kirsten has worked in administration in several office settings, including churches, doctor's offices, and other non-profits, which she believes were all training for her dream job at IMGN Life. Kirsten has always had a heart for serving families and standing up for biblical justice. She's a graduate of Liberty University, and she volunteered at the pregnancy center in Raleigh, where she had been living for the last five years with her husband and trained as a Birth and Bereavement Doula. She believes that all life is God-given from the moment of conception until their final breath, and she loves IMGN Life's heart for glorifying Christ in every interaction with clients and pursuing life and abundant life through Christ. After years of infant loss, Kirsten adopted her gorgeous little girl in 2021 and believes that this journey has prepared her to glorify Christ and love well in a way that only redemption through Christ can bring. Kirsten is a coffee and coffee mug lover and spends her free time crafting, reading, or with family and friends.

Katie Hinton,
Patient Care Services

Katie Hinton was born into a large family of 10 children as a Hoosier in Indiana, but has since been a long-time Virginia resident and boasts of all this beautiful state has to offer. Having a heart for the ministry surrounding the pro-life movement, Katie volunteered with IMGN Life as she had time in her high school years, which grew into weekly visits several years later, ultimately leading her to join the IMGN Life team in a staff position by 2016. In the years she has been involved, Katie has been humbled to witness first-hand the Holy Spirit moving in the lives of some of the most vulnerable in our community, counting it one of her highest privileges to serve the individuals walking through the door. When not spoiling her now almost 16 nieces and nephews, Katie enjoys teaching at a local pottery studio and creating her own artwork, staying involved in youth ministry, as well as eating any and all pastries paired with a good cup of hot tea.

Jenny Seal,
Clinical Coordinator

I was born and raised here in Virginia- about 2 hours from Fredericksburg. After completing nursing school with my BSN in Pensacola, Florida, I began working as a staff nurse in Harrisonburg, Va. After I got married, my husband and I moved to Charlotte, NC where I worked as a staff nurse, charge nurse, and assistant nurse manager on a post-surgical floor. Several moves and three children later, God led our family to the Fredericksburg area in the fall of 2020. Now that our children are a little older, I felt God calling me to use my nursing skills for His glory. It was a desire to truly be the hands and feet of Jesus and minister to those in need, but I wasn’t sure where. I am so thankful God led me to Choices Women’s Center. It is a wonderful feeling to meet women where they are and truly listen to their stories and try to give them hope and courage no matter what the situation is. Sharing the love of Christ not just in word but also in action. I have been married for 21 years and have three wonderful children. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family exploring the new area we live in. We also love to travel and are trying to make it to all 50 US states. We have currently made it to 37 states.

In 2011, they married and were commissioned to plant a new church in Centreville, VA. Since 2012, Ellen has worked with both faith-based and secular organizations to strategically raise funds, develop relationships, and build a passionate donor base. Ellen deeply values relationships and enjoys reading, outdoor time, and anything that allows her to be creative. She and her husband, Brandon, have three children and are currently planting their second church in Fredericksburg, VA.

Gloria Whitley,
Nurse Manager

In 1974, Gloria was the Nursing Supervisor for Rappahannock Health District where she referred several girls for an abortion. She later became radically pro-life and dedicated her life to the movement. Her favorite aspect of working at IMGN Life is being able to share Jesus’ love, purpose, and plan for these babies’ lives. When asked how this experience has changed her, Gloria responded, “I am blessed to minister with so many lovely, passionate, Godly women. Their unique impact has increased my joy, made me more grateful, and encouraged me to aim higher. The clients also have demonstrated great strength and hope in the midst of tragic life circumstances. Even the clients who choose abortion renew my commitment to life. Seeing lives healed and changed gives me encouragement to see God’s grace on display. One of our consultants says, ‘When we do the difficult, God does the impossible’. When I am weary, burdened, or full of mistakes, I experience grace.”

Jen Fink,
